All roads to Shelter 2008 in Nashik

Poised to take the city and the entrepreneurs here to the national level, the Promoters and Builders’ Association of Nashik (PBAN) is once again coming up with its biennial property exhibition – ’Shelter 2008’, taking place on the Dongre Vastigriha Grounds on Gangapur Road from December 18 to 21. 

Said Avinash Shirode, president of Promoters and Builders Association Nashik, “Everyone is already looking at Nashik as a metro-in-the-making. By May 2009, the road widening of the Mumbai-Nashik Highway will be completed and that will reduce the distance between the two cities to two hours. Air service to Mumbai has also begun, while infrastructure developments are already underway to accommodate a population of 40 lakh by the next 25 years. For this, the city is getting a huge fund under the Centre’s Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. Thus our objective is to highlight these things to attract more and more people and investments to Nashik.” 

This property exhibition is sponsored by ICICI Home Finance, Axis Bank Ltd, Ultratech Cement Ltd and LIC Housing Finance, while Radio Mirchi is the radio partner. 

Though the main emphasis of this exhibition is to highlight the attractive real estate properties in and around Nashik, a large number of stalls of domestic articles, financial companies lending housing loans, stalls of IT and home décor are also taking part.
