What is the outcome ?

This national level seminar organized to bring in industry experts from different parts of the country to Nashik and to let people of Nashik get benefited from their expertise. This year’s theme for seminar is “From Slowdown to Touchdown” with intentions of understanding all best businesses in corporate world are trying to recover from the current slowdown and what are the strategies that are being followed.

Steering towards SIOM‘s vision of Empowering Operations Excellence, the college organizes annual national seminars on diverse themes covering aspects of operational excellence and global competitiveness across various sectors of the economy.

It has been SIOM’s constant endeavour to enhance Industry-Institute relations to build a better tomorrow. The flagship event of SIOM – TATTV, an annual national level symposium, is an effort in this direction. Tattv aims to unfold the real elements governing the dynamics of business today. Since its inception in 2006, Tattv has been a forum witnessing Corporate Officers, Directors, and VPs sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience with students and other industry leaders. TATTV through the years has constantly been evolving to fuel the nascent desire and mould young management professionals to aspire for excellence.

The period of 2008 – 09 will be etched deep in history for the grey shade globalization acquired, old behemoths biting dust, millions across the globe losing their jobs and trillions of assets devalued. Businesses across the globe were sucked into the whirlpool of uncertainty – The world slowed down.

We have sailed through the troughs, it’s time to surge forth towards the crest. The need of the hour is to pause, introspect and act on the change we need. It’s time to push forward – It’s time to score a touchdown.

In the present scenario where nothing is certain, and business procedures keep changing by the minute, it becomes essential to ponder paths of excellence to be in existence and stay ahead.
