The month of , Shravan as per Hindu calendar is the most sacred month of the year. Many important festivals fall in this month.
The third Monday of the month is the most auspicious day for visitors to the Trimbakeshwar temple and take a round around the mountain which is approximately 8 Kms. Thousand flok the small village of trimbekshwar during this month especially on Monday. It is considered auspiciousto take a round arroun the mountain from which the river of Godavari.
The district administration is fully geared up to take on the festival rush during this season. 258 additional buses have been arranged from all over the city. Considering the recent terrorist attacks in the country additional security arrangements have been made to ensure complete security and safety of pilgrims.
