In this post , I have tried to compile about College Road Nashik and tried to put my comments on this famous street in Nashik. Instead of putting in an article I have tried to put in a FAQ questionnaire
What is College Road of Nashik ?
This is basically the most popular road in Nashik after the rail way station or rather I would classify it more popular than any other place in Nashik. This is basically a stretch of road approximately 2 Kms and you could compare it to a high street of any big city.
Why is it popular?
Situated in the heart of the city, it has many college located on the road and has a popular name as College Road amongst people. For the youngster in Nashik it is the most happening place. Because of the colleges and youngsters visiting it regularly it is always lively and acts as a hangout for younger people all during the day. This has attracted lot of people to multinationals to open shops on this road which makes it more popular.
The Fashion Street of Nashik?
It is also well know as the fashion street of Nashik for various boutiques, clothing shops which have opened in last few years. Few years back it was a dead place but in last 5 years it has turned into the most happening place in town.
What would you find on College Road ?
- Movies –> Cine Max
- Eating Joint, you will get everything from Indian Street Food to the Global Burger (Mac Donald’s ) or the India Burger Famous Vada Pav.
- Various Branded Shops for Accessories, Books Items Pantaloons, Reebok, One Dollar Shop , Cottons from Century , @ Home, Samsonite, Khadims Shoes, Planet M just to name a Few
- Colleges – You have Commerce, Arts, Science, Law, Management , Bhosala Military , Vocational situated all along the the road in a very large Campus.
What are my Eating Choices on College Road ?
- For Tea : Salim Bhai Tea Stall just Next to BYK College of Commerce.
- For Missal (Maharashtra’s Staple Diet) – Tushars a Small joint
- For Indian Snacks : Jalaram and Saga Food Court.
- For Pav Bhaji : Mamaj Pav Bhaji / Ashirwad Pav Bhaji on Tow End of the road.
- For Multi Cuisine : Food Court Outside Big Bazar
- For Fast Food : Nashik Nukkad has all Panai Puri, Dosa Joints Veg & Non Veg Thalis, MAC Donalds…..
